It's just 2 days to go until Above & Beyond perform at Brixton Academy, London. It's both their last London show of 2010 and their biggest UK show to date. It will also be the biggest gig yet for the winner of the Letsmix.com DJ competition - Swansea-based DJ ZaQ.

Warming up the action and providing the evening's introductory sounds, ZaQ will be playing a blend of progressive and tech-house flavours. The judging panel said: "ZaQ's mix perfectly captured the vibe for the evening's opening set and also showed a bit of creativity with some homemade mashups. Ahead of his superb debut album ‘Temporarity’, Michael Cassette will open the main room at 10pm, so be sure to get there early. Jaytech will follow at 11pm, with Above & Beyond's three hour headline set beginning at midnight. Mat Zo will finish off the night from 3-4am. Anyone who has seen her famous 'unplugged' Red Room sessions on Youtube will know just how unique and talented Aruna is. Having worked with artists like Mike Shiver, Filo & Peri and Myon & Shane 54, as well as clocking up a Beatport number 1 with 'Under Your Spell' (with Cosmic Gate), the Californian vocalist/songwriter steps out with her latest composition in the lush, contemplative vocal trance of 'Let Go'.

A deeply personal song about releasing yourself from a destructive relationship, 'Let Go' shows off Aruna's distinctive, cathartic tones perfectly with a laidback musical backing that builds into an uplifting, euphoric lead after the drop. With the help of Gods Kitchen resident Mark Eteson on production duties, 'Let Go' is a guaranteed anthem.

Taking the beauty of the song in a different direction, Nic Chagall's atmospheric rework combines pulsing progressive grooves with a mesmerising, heart-tugging piano breakdown and a beautiful release of measured melody.

A second 'Let Go' EP will be released on 22nd November, featuring a storming tech-trance remix from Who.Is, electro-house remixes from Starfarmers and a Myon and Shane 54 refill of Nic Chagall's remix.

With just over week to go before Above & Beyond’s performance at the 02 Brixton Academy, we can reveal that a range of Anjunabeats products will be sold at the merchandise stall on the night itself — including signed CD copies of Above & Beyond and Gareth Emery pres OceanLab ‘On A Good Day (Metropolis)’ which is released as the clock strikes midnight that very night.
The new and limited commemorative Brixton t-shirts will also be on sale, with other available items including the 12" vinyl edition of ‘On A Good Day (Metropolis)’, sweatbands, key rings, Anjunabeats albums and existing t-shirt lines. The merchandise stall will be operating on the left hand side of the main foyer at the 02 Brixton Academy.

Above & Beyond at Brixton Academy on Saturday 30th October represents Jono, Paavo and Tony’s biggest UK show yet and their final London date of 2010. Featuring a three-hour set from Above & Beyond themselves, the show also represents the biggest collection of talent from A&B's Anjunabeats roster ever to appear in the capital. Joining Above & Beyond will be Anjunadeep’s Jaytech, the prodigious Mat Zo and 80s-inspired electronic house act Michael Cassette.

The last 300 tickets are selling fast and the Brixton show will be sold-out by next week at the very latest. But if taking over one of London’s biggest venues wasn’t enough, the team from Anjunabeats' sister label, Anjunadeep, have announced they’re holding a very special afterparty at London’s Plan B, featuring Jaytech and James Grant (back to back set), and Gareth Wyn.
